The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has published a video of the new electronic system for registering students under scientific supervision who study abroad.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, launched the electronic platform (sus.cdm.edu.eg) for completing the procedures of Egyptian scholars at their own expense abroad, and placed them under the scientific supervision of the Central Administration of Missions at the Ministry of Higher Education, within the framework of the state’s plan to Digital transformation and mechanization of government services in line with Egypt’s 2030 vision.
The Minister asserted, in a statement issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, that the aim of this platform is to quickly complete the procedures for placing male and female students under scientific supervision through the mechanization of the work cycle, beginning with the submission of students with their documents to the central administration of missions via the platform, and obtain all necessary approvals, Documenting the enrollment of students electronically, whether through the cultural offices of the Ministry abroad or the Egyptian embassies and consulates, and ending by sending documents electronically to the Recruitment and Mobilization Department to complete the procedures for postponing the Military conscription and issuing travel permits electronically to those concerned.
Dr. Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar added that this step comes within the framework of generalizing the scientific supervision service on our male and female students, so that registration is not limited to male students who want to obtain travel permits and postpone Military conscription, within the framework of implementing the Scholarships Law and the procedures issued in relation to the decisions of the Supreme Council of Universities To equal the certificates of the students after returning home.
