Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Energy, said that the electronic platform for electricity services launched by the ministry has received about 60,000 visitors a day through computers and mobile phones.
Shaker added in a statement, that the platform which is developed and implemented by Fixed solutions has so far received about 150,000 requests to switch from accounting for electricity consumption by system of practice to code meters.
The requests also included all nine electricity distribution companies, the largest of which was the number of Qanal companies, Upper Egypt, and Middle Egypt for electricity distribution. The platform also receives a large number of inquiries and is answered directly, through the service of inquiries and complains on the electronic platform.
He stressed about the need to pay attention to the speed, accuracy, and clarity of responding to citizens inquiries and resolve their complains. He also stressed the continued receipt of the platform for requests to switch from accounting for electricity consumption by system of practice to code meters until mid-August.
This comes within the framework of the attention paid by the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy to improving and facilitating the services provided to citizens at the level of the Republic.
