Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance, announced the launch of the official website of the Ministry of Finance on the Internet (www.mof.gov.eg) in its new version, after developing it in form and content, with the latest technologies, considering standard insurance procedures.
The National Group Fixed solutions has actively participated in developing the website of the Ministry of Finance through a distinguished team of Egyptian youth who have developed and updated the content and shape of the site to appear in this easy and secure way for the citizen.
A statement by the Ministry of Finance stated that the launch of the developed website contributes to making information, data, legislation, indicators and financial publications approved and documented for specialized experts, investors and international institutions. In order to inform them of the positive developments of the Egyptian economy and the efforts made to create an environment conducive to investment by reviewing the national project to modernize and automate the financial systems, the systems of tax administration and customs administration, and other structural reforms, in a way that also helps in involving the Egyptian citizen in the state’s fiscal policies and deepening national awareness of the unprecedented achievements, especially the positive effects of economic reform, in the face of the “Corona” pandemic, in line with the strategic project for the digitization of the state and the gradual transition to “digital Egypt”.
The statement indicated that the website developed for the ministry is based on facilitating online browsing and obtaining information. In order to develop national awareness financially, economically, and legally, explaining that this site provides governmental and other services to citizens, announcing scholarships, and information services on the “electronic certification authority” and “the general registry of accountants and auditors”, in addition to the possibility of subscribing to the system of notifications, and the launch of a new system for receiving and responding to complaints electronically, and reviewing statistics and the most important initiatives and events adopted by the Ministry.
The statement pointed out that the new website includes shedding light on the general vision of the ministry, its objectives, its strategy, the most important achievements it has achieved, and the vision of “Egypt 2030”, which reflects the long-term strategic plan of the state to achieve the principles and goals of sustainable development in all fields. The statement indicated that all press releases, media reports, and visual content that includes: “television content, produced films, and advertising campaigns” will be made available on the new website, in addition to providing questionnaire forms for effective community participation.
